After-sales charter – Daan Technologies

The After-Sales Service Charter (SAV) is an integral part of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale accepted by the customer when selling the product. The Company reserves the right to modify the after-sales service charter at any time. In the event of modification of the after-sales service charter, the applicable General Conditions are those in force on the date of the order. A copy dated on the order can be given to the customer at his request.

Response times

The customer can reach the after-sales service from Monday to Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on 02 51 31 12 26, he can also contact by email at sav@daan.tech

The After-Sales Service is available by telephone in French and English. Daan Technologies undertakes to respond to requests by email within 3 working days and then to respond within 48 working hours.
Shipment of spare parts (during guaranteed and non-guaranteed after-sales service): Shipment by Daan Tech within three working days of receipt of the order, unless otherwise indicated on the site.
Factory Repair: Once the product is received at the factory. Daan Technologies repairs and returns the products within an estimated period of three working days. In case of delay, Daan Technologies will inform the customer. Transport delays are not the responsibility of Daan Technologies. The customer will then have to add the estimated transport times between 24 and 72 business hours there and back.
After-Sales Service for products manufactured by Daan Technologies is provided exclusively by Daan Technologies. In order to fight planned obsolescence and protect the environment, Daan Technologies encourages the repair of its products.

Repair covered by the legal warranty

Daan Technologies guarantees the operation of its products in accordance with the requirements of their instructions for use, against any manufacturing or component defects for a period of two years. This warranty covers parts and labor. In the event of a product breakdown, Daan Technologies will repair or exchange it free of charge under the conditions set out in this Charter. Non-functional consumables, accessories and cosmetic parts are not guaranteed. The consumer should contact the

after-sales service within 14 days of the occurrence of the fault and present proof of purchase.
The warranty does not cover failures due to accidental cause, misuse or negligence. The same applies in the event of modifications or repairs carried out by unqualified persons, without the authorization of Daan Technologies. Under no circumstances can this warranty give rise to any damages.

2.1 Malfunction or breakage during unpacking

Breakage related to transport:
If the customer purchased his product on the daan.tech website

  • The request must be made no later than 30 days after the date of purchase of the product. This request must be made by email with photos of the broken parts. If the customer purchased their product from a reseller

2.2 Malfunction during use

The consumer must contact customer service by email at sav@daan.tech by attaching

  • All documents, videos and photos to illustrate the malfunction. Daan Technologies may ask to carry out tests in order to understand the failure and establish the preliminary diagnosis.

2.3 Repair Process

Following the diagnosis established by Daan Technologies, the consumer will have two options

  • Return to factory
  • A self-repair to be carried out by him

As the product is still under warranty, each of these two options are free. In the event of self-repair, the commercial warranty will in no way be affected and in the event of breakage during self-repair, Daan Technologie will bear the damage caused. Self-repair consists of sending the spare parts as well as a tutorial video to guide the consumer during the repair. Daan Technologies will decide, and only Daan Technologies, to exchange the product.

Repair out of legal warranty

After the legal period of two years, the product will no longer be under warranty. In the event of a breakdown after this period, the necessary repairs will be the responsibility of the consumer. Only customers who have subscribed to an extension of the warranty (Daan Care) will be exempted.

3.1 Malfunction during use

The consumer may:

  • Be accompanied in the analysis by our after-sales service at sav@daan.tech

3.2 Repair process

The consumer will then have two choices for the repair:

  • The purchase of spare parts for self-repair
  • The return of its product to the Daan Tech factory

In both cases, the customer will go to our site to place an order for one or other of the possible options. The Customer fills his virtual basket indicating the selected products and the desired quantities, then clicks on the “Order” button and provides information relating to delivery and payment method.
Before clicking on the “Confirm order” button, the Customer has the possibility of checking the details of his order and its total price and of returning to the previous pages to correct any errors or possibly modify his order. Confirmation of the order entails acceptance of the General Conditions of Sale and forms the contract.

Payment and down payment

An e-mail acknowledging receipt of the Order and its payment is sent by the Company as soon as possible. The order of spare parts on the site requires the total payment of the order before taking over and shipping by the company Daan Technologies. For product returns to the factory for repair: The customer must pay a deposit at the time of the order. The amount of the deposit corresponds to an amount equal to 1 hour of labor, as well as the cost of round trip transport. This deposit will be deducted from the amount of the repair of the device if the repair estimate is accepted and signed. An estimate of the cost of repairs can be communicated to you before returning the product to Daan Technologies after-sales service.

In the event of your refusal of the quote or proposed corrective quote: your device will be returned to you as is. If you have decided to abandon your device with your prior written consent for abandonment; you are informed that your product may be upgraded or marketed by Daan Technologies as part of its “second life” activity.

Repair and spare parts warranty

All repairs and spare parts sold by Daan Technologies are guaranteed for one year. The one-year warranty following a repair will be limited exclusively to the identified malfunction and not to the entire product. The one-year warranty for spare parts applies only when used in a Daan Technologies product. Any component sold by Daan Technologies should be stored or used as recommended in our user guide or videos. tutorials.

Terms of payment

Payment is made exclusively by credit card.

The Site (sav.daan.tech) uses the security system of a service provider specializing in online payment. This system guarantees the Client the total confidentiality of his banking information. The transaction carried out between the Customer and Daan Technologie is fully encrypted and protected. The Customer’s bank details are in no way stored by Daan Technologies.

Warranty extensions

When purchasing a product on our website, the DAAN CARE warranty extension is offered. This extension makes it possible to guarantee the product for 3 additional years, i.e. 5 years in total.

Consumers who have purchased their product from a distributor have the choice of purchasing Daan Care or taking out the extended warranty offered by the retailer. The customer must contact the entity with which he subscribed to the said extended warranty.

Procedure for returning products to the factory

The product must be returned without any accessories and in their original packaging with protection. Any product returned that does not follow Daan Technologies’ recommendations may be subject to invoicing based on breakage or additional malfunction.

Return procedure:

  • Drain the bob:
    • Drain cycle in the Settings menu

or

  • Unplug Bob and turn it over a sink to empty the remaining water,
    • Clean the filters, the washing arm with clean water and the inside of the tank using a sponge.
    • Keep all the accessories (basket, cassette(s), pipe(s), power cord) unless otherwise indicated by Daan Tech in particular cases.
    • Plug the water inlet and the drain outlet with absorbent paper before sending it out.

Be careful, do not wrap Bob in plastic, this could damage the electronics due to water.

  • Put Bob back in his original box with the protections provided,
  • Tape the cardboard flaps well at the TOP and BOTTOM so that they do not come apart
